The 404's shape (which Danny Ching helped develop) was inspired by single-person racing vessels like outrigger canoes and Olympic sprint kayaks. The result is a board that's stable enough for beginners yet fast enough to compete at the highest level. The racing hull slices through water while the flat bottom and wide, square tail allow the board to plane at high speeds and still have a clean release. Suitable for all bodies of water.
